Our Team – Milton Site
Kimberley McIntosh
Midwifery is my calling and I am privileged to support families in our community. I love supporting pregnant people, and their families, through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks postpartum. Informed choice, home visits, and the transformation that occurs during this time are some of my favourite parts of my work. I am also passionate about infant feeding and helping families find their confidence in parenting. I have hold a BA in Anthropology from the University of Toronto and BHSCc from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
When not practicing, I am usually with my three kids or dreaming of adventures with my partner. I also dabble in crafts, enjoy reading, and am very slowly learning home renovation skills.

I am so grateful to support families in our community. I was born and raised in Milton, Ontario, and feel deeply connected to the Halton Region. It's a privilege to serve families in the same region where I grew up, supporting them through one of the most special times in their lives.
I completed my undergraduate in the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University and went on to earn a Master of Science in Midwifery, also from McMaster. My academic and clinical interests include exploring the advancement of the midwifery scope of practice and the role of culture in the healthcare setting. I was proud to contribute as an author to a textbook on cultural competency for health care providers.
Midwifery has always been more than a profession to me — it's a way to build trust, promote informed choice, and provide care that is both evidence-based and deeply respectful of individual values and backgrounds.
Outside of midwifery, I love exploring new restaurants, hiking local trails, and travelling with my husband.

It is my joy and privilege to provide midwifery care to families in the Halton Region. I graduated from the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University and have enjoyed practising in this community the past few years. I am passionate about informed choice and supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Outside of work, my interests include cross-country running, hiking in the region with my husband, and volunteering in the community.
I look forward to meeting you!

As a resident of Oakville for over 20 years, I am thrilled to be joining Community Midwives of Halton —especially after being lucky enough to have CMOH midwives guide my own children into the world! The impact midwifery had on my family was immeasurable, and inspired me to pursue a career change.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery from McMaster University, I feel privileged to have attended over 100 meaningful births, primarily in the Hamilton and Etobicoke areas. I loved my time as a learner and am grateful for all my clients, teachers, and colleagues whose support helped me excel and find confidence in my role as a clinician. Prior to midwifery, I worked in the performing arts industry, including founding Innovative Arts Inc., a youth performing arts studio based in Oakville.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy being crafty, renovating with my dad, socializing with friends, nerding out about new research, and clowning around with my two boys. As a Registered Midwife, I believe in person-centered care—built through a partnership where clients are heard, informed, and trusted. I believe that there is always time for kindness and consideration, and that the process of having a baby can be immensely positive and transformative, whether it is at home or in the hospital. I hope to be an ally and advocate for all my clients and colleagues, working together to nurture a more inclusive, safe, and compassionate future.
