Our Team – Milton Site
Kimberley McIntosh
Midwifery is my calling and I am privileged to support families in our community. I love supporting pregnant people, and their families, through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks postpartum. Informed choice, home visits, and the transformation that occurs during this time are some of my favourite parts of my work. I am also passionate about infant feeding and helping families find their confidence in parenting. I have a BA in Anthropology and attended Ryerson University for my midwifery degree.
When not practicing, I am usually with my three kids or dreaming of adventures with my partner. I also dabble in crafts, enjoy reading, and am very slowly learning home renovation skills.

I am so happy to be serving the families of the Halton area. I was born and raised in Milton and feel a strong sense of connection to this community. After completing my Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery at McMaster University, I worked in Cambridge, ON. I am grateful to return home to CMOH. When I am not catching babies, I am assisting with the McMaster Midwifery Education Program or researching cultural competency for health care providers. In my spare time I can be found hiking one of the many beautiful conservation areas Halton has to offer or snuggling with my cat, Leon.

Even before high school I knew I wanted to be a midwife. I was drawn to the profession due to my love for informed choice and all other aspects of the midwifery model of care. It is a privilege to now have that title and support you and your family throughout pregnancy, labour and delivery, and the postpartum period.
I completed the Midwifery Education Program through McMaster University and had most of my clinical placements in St. Catharines, Hamilton, and the Halton region. I loved my time as a student at Community Midwives of Halton and am thrilled to be back serving this community!
In my spare time I enjoy visiting my family in the Niagara region, going out for coffee with friends, singing, cuddling with my dog, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
I look forward to meeting you!
