Our Team – Milton Site

Kimberley McIntosh

Midwifery is my calling and I am privileged to support families in our community. I love supporting pregnant people, and their families, through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks postpartum. Informed choice, home visits, and the transformation that occurs during this time are some of my favourite parts of my work. I am also passionate about infant feeding and helping families find their confidence in parenting. I have a BA in Anthropology and attended Ryerson University for my midwifery degree.

When not practicing, I am usually with my three kids or dreaming of adventures with my partner. I also dabble in crafts, enjoy reading, and am very slowly learning home renovation skills.

I am so happy to be serving the families of the Halton area. I was born and raised in Milton and feel a strong sense of connection to this community. After completing my Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery at McMaster University, I worked in Cambridge, ON. I am grateful to have returned home and work at CMOH. When I am not catching babies, I am teaching at McMaster's Midwifery Education Program as a sessional instructor. Additionally, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Midwifery.

In my spare time I can be found hiking one of the many beautiful conservation areas Halton has to offer, travelling with my husband, or snuggling with my cat, Leon.

It is my joy and privilege to provide midwifery care to families in the Halton Region. I graduated from the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University and have enjoyed practising in this community the past few years. I am passionate about informed choice and supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Outside of work, my interests include cross-country running, hiking in the region with my husband, and volunteering in the community.

I look forward to meeting you!
